It's August and the weather is wet. We have a competition coming up on the 19th till 21st at Newby Hall in North Yorkshire and by the looks of it it's going to be another wet one like the last one. We just have to carry on nothing will stop us. We have waterproofs so the competition must go on.

Charlie our new 16hh horse is settling in just fine, he has came to take over from our Hackney for the Horse Driving Trials, he will be competing next year so watch this space.

If you have nothing to do on the weekend of the 19th August come along to Newby Hall and support us. Saturday there is Driven Dressage and a cones course for all classes, on Sunday is the fun day where we drive the marathon then the 6 obsticles..

CARRIAGE RIDES THROUGH OUT OPENING DAYS

We have just got home from our second competition of the season with a 3rd place.

We are off to our second competition of the season at Ripley Castle Between Ripon and Harrogate off the A61 postcode HG3 3AY. Please come and be a spectator and come and say hello to us in the Stabling area. It's a fantastic event and you will enjoy every moment of been there.

We had a brilliant day and the sun shone most of the day. We took the 2011 Gala King & Queen through the possession of the parade and took them into the arena to be crowned.  We also had the Gala Bear Billowby Bear hop on the carriage for a ride round the arena to wave at the crowds of thousands..

If you would like us to come along to your Gala or similar please get intouch as we will be more than happy to.

The competing season is nearly upon us and everything seems to be going to plan. If your free on the 9-10th Come along to Escrick Park Nr York and watch the horses in action at the 2day Horse Driving Trials. Please also come over and say hello in the stabling area.
